Producing electronic music for half his time on this Earth, Rootsix has watched the electronic music scene meander its path underground, overground and back full circle. Firmly sticking to his roots of chicago acid-house and deep detroit techno and electro, he has created a unique sound.
With releases on Pimp, Ai records & Corpid, Rootsix has found a home with Concrete Plastic; becoming more involved with the inner workings of the label. As a sideline to writing music for release, Rootsix has produced music for web sites and short film.
He uses technology both bleeding-edge and dusty-old and has a penchant for 50s/60s laboratory equipment.
