Yard

Hailing from the dark woods of the west coast of the united states, Yard spent his youth dreaming of major cities. After moving to Chicago and soaking up as many house sensibilities as possible, Yard relocated back to the northwest. A stalwart of the urban 4/4 underground techno scene, Yard's gritty sound evokes a spectrum of gnarled city life to organic atmospheres.

Yard has performed throughout the US with artists such as Apparat (Bpitch/Shitkatapult), Rob Hall (Gescom/SKAM), Brothomstates (Warp), Adam Johnson (M3rck/Narita), Solenoid (Orac), Machinedrum (M3rck), Jacen Solo (Ai), and Accelera Deck (Morr) in a variety of environments from a club setting to outdoor festivals. In addition to running Yard Rec & co running Toast & Jam Recordings, Yard has releases on Concrete Plastic, Narita, Skam, Plong! and Kahvi as well as numerous compilation appearances.
